TITLE: Unified Communications Solutions (UCS) Account Executive
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales

SUMMARY: Voice and Data Networks is a premier provider of enterprise voice and data hardware and software solutions. The role of the UCS Account Executive is to prospect, understand customer issues and solve customer issues with VDN solutions. The UCS AE is focused on bringing on new customers to VDN.
The ideal candidate will have; enterprise voice and data experience, proven success bringing on new customers, proven success meeting and exceeding quota, strong consultative sales skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strong focus on identifying and closing new customers
2. Sell total systems solutions to mid and large enterprise customers
3. Work with customer to create product and maintenance solutions that fit into their overall future needs
4. Coordinate the bid process, proposal generation, and customer pricing
5. Develop and implement sales plans and sales forecasts focused on profitability to VDN
6. Identify and implement strategies to introduce additional VDN and associated vendor product into new accounts
7. Introduce and lead other VDN sales personnel in an team-Selling environment to customers
8. Identify ways to shorten the sales cycle for implementation and budgetary decisions
9. Develop ongoing revenue stream from existing installed base customers
10. Build C-Level customer relationships, make presentations, and provide product support to multiple levels within the customer hierarchy
11. Works with IT, Telecommunications and LOB managers to understand and assist in a consultative selling approach to technology.
